SONGWRITERS ACOUSTIC NIGHTS
The Nine Year Anniversary Show

(For more show details, scroll below.)

NINE YEARS and still going strong!
Come join the celebration with another not-to-be-missed line-up of great music talent in this monthly series. Check it out - an evening of ORIGINAL acoustic music from some of Southern California's most talented singer songwriters.
Here are FOUR great reasons to go to this show:

- DAVE HOWARD: "A few local performers have had one or two songs covered, but only a select handful have made songwriting for others a part of their musical focus. Certainly amongst the most successful is Dave Howard. A serial collaborator, in addition to his own releases, he’s also co-written a slew of superb tunes, including such ‘should’ve been’ hits as Berkley Hart’s “Something To Fall Back On” and A.J. Croce’s “Summer Can’t Come Too Soon.” While nothing has yet to catch the public’s ear just right, Howard’s songs are radio friendly and hook filled. It’s only a matter of time." - Bart Mendoza, The Troubadour

- RUSTY JONES' sound has melded the soul of the blues, the passion of R & B, the melody of pop, the lyricism of folk, and the visceral joys of ROCK!

- BILL HARTWELL: Hartwell is known for his "...keen observational ballads, social commentary, an overall comfortable and confident presentation by a veteran player combining good guitar and vocal skills with a collection of interesting and personal music." - Frank Kocher, The Troubadour.

- PATRICIA BAHIA is an indie pop singer-songwriter and cancer survivor based in L.A.
With a voice as smooth as polished stone that’s been through the rock tumbler of life, and a collection of frank, sparkling indie pop tunes in the vein of Aimee Mann, Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles, she lives her bucket list and inspires others to do the same. In addition to being a performing songwriter, Patricia frequently collaborates with artists and bands, and has garnered placements in TV Shows and promos. Recently, her song Great Day to Be Alive was named a finalist in the "John Lennon Songwriting Contest" in the Folk category! It’s a song she co-wrote with her "7th & Hope" duo partner Betty Lawrence.

Now begining our 10th year! You don't want to miss this evening in our monthly series of original music. Presented in a writers round, this is a creative and exciting showcase. This opportunity to hear ORIGINAL music at a venue with amazing acoustics, should not be missed.
